This short sleeved worsted weight sweater makes a great transition piece for fall and knits up fast in time for cooler weather!

  • Three Needle Bind off

  • Set in pocket

Materials:

Finished Circumfrence: 40.5 (44.5, 48, 52, 56.5) (60.5, 64, 68, 72.5)”

  • 796 (894, 1008, 1128, 1264) (1396, 1520, 1650, 1766) yds of worsted-weight yarn for body (MC), 30 yds of worsted-weight for pocket lining (CC). We recommend: Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino, Blue Sky Woolstok or Kelbourne Woolens Germantown or Hudson & West Forge.
  • Two US 6 (4 mm) 32”/80 cm circ needles or size needed to obtain gauge
  • US 6 (4 mm) 16”/40 cm circ needle or size used to obtain gauge
  • US 7 (4.5 mm) needle (straight, circ or DPN) or 1 needle size larger than that used to obtain gauge (to be used during 3 Needle Bind-Off)
  • 12 (12, 12, 14, 14) (14, 14, 16, 16) stitch markers, in a variety of colors or styles
  • Scrap yarn
  • Tapestry needle
  • Copy of the Alanis pattern by Elizabeth Smith

Preparation:

Prepare a gauge swatch

Gauge: 19 sts & 30 rnds = 4”/10 cm in St st in the round

Make sure to wash and block gauge swatch.
