Intro to Intarsia - Warp Vest: TU May 14, 21 & 28 at 7 pm

Availability: Out of stock

Intrigued by intarsia, but nervous about trying it? The Warp Vest is a modern approach to intarsia that is extremely beginner-friendly. We’ll learn to do the intarsia technique while shaping the front and back pieces before using a simple 3 needle bind off to join the shoulders. We’ll learn a painless seaming technique for the sides and then pick up stitches to work the ribbed edgings.

Students should work a 4”-5” stockinette swatch in the yarn you intend to use for the project. Please wash and block the swatch before measuring, especially if you plan to use cotton or linen yarn. If the gauge does not match the pattern gauge, please adjust the needle size and re-swatch until the correct gauge is achieved. Once you meet gauge, please cast on and complete Section 1.1 of the pattern in your size.
