Have you yearned to knit a sweater? Come make this fun warm weather knit as a great introduction to crafting garments. 

Three 2 hour sessions

Skills needed: knit, purl, yarn over, decreases,

Materials: 

  • Yarn: Recommend cotton, flax, silk, or some warm weather blend in fingering weight yarn. 575-675 (625-725, 675-750, 750-875, 850-1000){950-1125, 1050-1250, 1125-1375, 1225-1500} yards depending on size of finished garment. We recommend Antigone, Alba or Pure Silk.
  • Needles: US 4 - 3.5 mm (or 2 sizes below needle for gauge) in 24”-40” & DPNs or small circumference circular to finish sleeves; US 5 - 3.75 mm (or size to obtain gauge) in 24”-40” based on preference/size of finished garment
  • Darning needle 
  • Pattern for Outline Tee by Jessie Maed Designs (available via Ravelry or PayHip

 

Homework: please come to class with a 6” x 6” swatch for gauge
