Preorder a Cricket Loom for our upcoming weaving workshops! The Cricket Loom is compact, capable, and cute! It’s available in a 10 or 15″ weaving width, offering more flexibility in your choice of weaving projects, while still remaining portable. Made of high-quality maple plywood and hard maple. Each Cricket comes with an 8-dent reed, a threading hook, warping peg, table clamps, two shuttles, and two balls of yarn (yarn colors will vary). Uses the same reeds as the 10" or 15″ Flip folding rigid heddle loom. Additional shuttles and pick-up sticks are available.

How does a rigid heddle loom make weaving fun and easy? When the heddle is moved from the neutral position to down or up positions, it creates a shed, or opening, where the weft can pass through. This makes weaving much quicker than picking each yarn up by hand as you would do with a frame loom.
