We are nearing the end of our 15th birthday celebration year, but I have one last special collaboration to share. For this one, I wanted it to be very local. The natural choice for the designer to work with was Olga Buraya-Kefelian. We met nearly two decades ago, and she’s been a massive part of fibre space from the day it was born. Her designs are unique and always have a clever element.

For yarn, the clear choice was our friends at Gum Tree Farm, a Merino farm right here in Virginia in nearby Middleburg. I am SO thrilled to share the results of this collab project—the Starflock Cowl. It combines the beautiful properties of organically processed Merino in all 3 natural colorways with a fun slip stitch pattern and tiny cables to bring out the texture and allow this yarn to shine in a stylish neckline accessory.
