Amigurumi are small, cute handmade dolls and toys—perfect for giving as gifts or keeping for yourself. In this class, you’ll learn the basics of crocheting and assembling amigurumi, with a Toft Animal or Veggie Crochet Kit of your choice.

Two 1.5-hour sessions

Skills needed:

• Creating a chain
• Single crochet (aka UK double crochet)
• Basic pattern reading

Skills learned:

• Magic circle
• Crocheting in the round
• Increasing and decreasing
• Assembling and finishing amigurumi

Materials:

Toft Animal or Veggie Crochet Kit of your choice, provided it is a level 1. Kits include all tools and materials needed. Please check the skill level on your kit.  Those who are newer to crochet may want to choose a level 1 or 2 kit. Reserve yours in advance here or pick up the day of class.
