Crochet motifs, affectionately called granny squares, are a great way to build on beginning crochet skills. In this class, learn several basic granny square patterns and how to join them to make clothing and home goods.

• Chaining
• Single Crochet

• Working in the round
• Joining motifs
• Reading crochet diagrams

Materials:

• Approximately 200 yards worsted weight yarn, in color(s) of your choice. This is a great opportunity to use up yarn scraps
• US G (4.00mm), US G + (4.50mm)or US H (4.50mm) crochet hook
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Locking stitch markers
